A Once in a Lifetime Life-Changing Opportunity

                              Kialee and Grandpa

This is my 17 year old granddaughter, Kialee. She has a once in a lifetime opportunity that will change her life forever and I feel privileged to ask you, my friends, to help make this possible.

Kialee is praying for the funds to join her youth group on a mission trip to South Africa. Diane and I have contributed a significant amount to help her because our own experiences on these trips changed our lives.

We would love to see her faith strengthened by seeing God use you to help answer her prayers.

Thank you ahead of time for your generous response. This is the first request like this I have made.

Don’t be frightened. I know that you know I have four other grandchildren, but you can relax. These bread-snappers are spaced years apart so further appeals will be far in the future.

Have you had the opportunity for a trip like this?

How did it change your life?

Dear Friends and Family,

KIalee and her mom

                Kialee and her mom Traci

My name is Kialee Scheer.

My parents are Traci and Brian Scheer and my grandparents are Ken and Diane Davis.

I am 16 years old, turning 17 in December, and I’m in my junior year at Franklin High School. In the summer of 2017, I have decided to go to South Africa with my church, Rolling Hills Community Church.

This is a great opportunity for me to experience what being a missionary is like, and to serve in a different location and culture.

We will be working with Rolling Hills Community Church’s sister organization, Living Hope. Our focus is to encourage the local staff in their work to build community, teach children and families relevant life skills and share the love of Christ among all of these people. We will also get to explore areas in and around Red Hill. One of the most exciting things about this mission is I’ll be experiencing it with some of my closest friends who I am in a small group with and serve alongside each week at my church.

I’ve always wondered if God was calling me to become a missionary in South Africa. I’ve always prayed for a chance to go. Once I heard that my high school youth group was taking some students to South Africa I jumped at the opportunity. It’s going to be my first international mission trip and I’m beyond excited. There are many components that go into this trip.

A major factor is the amount of money this trip will cost. So far, the predicted amount for this mission is $3,100. I’ve decided to send out letters to see if people would be willing to contribute towards this mission trip.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity, and I have already begun working towards raising the funds needed. I’ve been saving money and fundraising.

It’s going to be hard doing this on my own, so I’m asking friends and family to help me.

It’d be amazing if you could help me raise money for this incredible chance for me to live a dream that I’ve prayed about for a while. If you are unable to contribute financially towards this trip, I would greatly appreciate prayers as we prepare.

Thank you so much for reading this letter; any amount of financial support and/or prayers would mean the world to me.

If you are able to support me financially, please make checks out to “Justice and Mercy International” and write my name in the memo. Please mail checks to the following address: Ken Davis Productions, 105 Southeast Parkway, Suite 107, Franklin, TN 37064.

I also have a GoFundMe. The link is: https://www.gofundme.com/kialeesouthafrica
